How to Start Internet Marketing

“I have a website, can I use it to sell on?”

“I have a website, can I use it to sell on?” The short answer is yes, the long answer is I don’t think you will want to after you see what is required of a successful internet marketing website.

The requirements of the website are synonymous to the product you want to sell.

The approach is:

    1. Find a product to sell,

    2. Secure the present and future supply of the new product,

    3. Decide on a URL,

    4. Find a host that is Marketing friendly,

    5. Choose a means to collect the money from the customer.

These five steps are crucial to your business start-up and continued success. I take each step and divide them into mini steps that explain:

    • why one product will work and another will not.
    • How to secure product supply, home or abroad.
    • Why the URL is number one in importance of all steps! How to select the URL even if the one you want has already been taken.
    • Finding a host is more than opening the yellow pages, a wise choice will allow you to spend the minimum to get started, grow safely until another host or your own server is needed.
    • If you are going to sell a product you will need a “Shopping Cart”, if you cannot afford to lease a shopping cart for $2500 a month then I can suggest alternatives that are almost free.

These five steps are almost impossible to incorporate into your existing website… I wouldn’t even try! It is so much easier and quicker to choose a URL that matches the product then optimize it for the search engines.

As part of the ABC’s of Starting Internet Marketing, these five steps are proven winners that can be incorporated into your overall plan to grow into a successful online business. For FREE you can receive this report in just a few minutes!
